History of Carter’s My Plumber:

Carter’s Plumbing started in the garage of Bob Carter’s house in the 1960’s. Bob taught himself the trade because there was no trade school. It was there in that time that Jamie Carter, Bobs’ son, learned the plumbing trade and decided that he was going to live the plumber’s life as well as a career. But, Jamie Carter did not just stop there. He had dreams to grow it into a business. And the business did grow. He hired plumbers with the help from Bob and his wife, Lisa. They went from running it inside a barn and into finally in a building. After years of success, (without the knowledge that his son, Kelson would follow) Jamie sold the business and retired from plumbing.

Then years later, after Jamie took Kelson to work many times before he sold the business. Kelson learned the trade as well and wanted to keep the family name and business going. It is now a third-generation owned business! The Carters Plumbing business was started back up with its well-known legacy of great service and fair prices! The Carter’s My Plumber office is located in Greenwood on SR 135 just north of Fry Road!
