A couple of weeks ago, Carter’s My Plumber golfed to raise money for Partners in Housing. An organization out of Indianapolis, Partners in Housing helps get the homeless in Indy, indoors! Founded in 1993, Frank Hagaman noticed all the empty buildings downtown and the amazing amount of homeless people.
After putting the two together, he formed the idea to start Partners in Housing! Now after 25 years of existence the organization now owns and operates 12 apartment buildings in and around the Indianapolis area!
Partners in Housing – Set For Success
Partner’s in Housing does not care about credit scores, past evection, and most criminal background history. They care about giving second chances to those who do not have a home. “The set of keys we give them may be the first set they’ve had in years”. Partners in Housing hopes that after a person moves in they will stay there for a while.
Putting For Partners Event
The Putting for Partners outing was held in Greenwood, Indiana at Valle Vista Golf Club. It was a beautiful day to play golf! We were all treated with a gift of a cooler and other prizes and games to play throughout the day. After was a dinner! All of us at Carter’s My Plumber would recommend attending one of Partners in Housing events. They really do know how to put on a great one! All for a great cause! Below, is a short video of our day.
